Want to become involved with Townsville Little Theatre off-stage?
Volunteering at Townsville Little Theatre is a fulfilling way to support the arts! Here's a few reasons why you should consider becoming a volunteer:
Front of house volunteers work at the ticket desk of our shows and cover a range of tasks during a show including selling show and raffle tickets, collecting tickets, serving tea and coffee, running the bar, and ushering audience members.
Interested in Make-up? We are looking for people who can join our Make-up team. The make-up team does the actors’ stage make-up for our productions and are generally required for the performance dates and one/two prior dress rehearsals.
Bump-in/Bump-out involves setting up the stage set for a production and taking it down. Volunteers in this area can perform tasks such as transporting stage equipment to the theatre and back to the shed, and physically building the set. Closed in shoes must be worn when volunteering for Bump-in and Bump-out. If you have a trailer or ute, that also comes in handy for transporting equipment.
We are always looking for help to spread the word about our productions by handing out and distributing our production posters and flyers.
Thank you for registering your interest to become a volunteer at Townsville Little Theatre! We really appreciate it.
We will get back to you as soon as possible.
